Our Maya is named for Mayahuel, an Aztec goddess of the maguey plant, also known as the "century plant." Mayahuel is goddess of many things, among them motherhood, fertility, and nourishment.
She is also *literally* the goddess of pulque (agave wine) and tequila, and this is reflected in our signature scent (anyone for midnight margaritas?)
Crisp and invigorating, the spell-work of each Maya candle is aimed at reawakening passion and aiding in fertility. Please note, that means *all* forms of fertility, not just baby-making. You can apply this intention just as easily to creativity, gardening, or prosperity.
Every candle is blessed and hand-poured. Each unique scent was painstakingly created to honor the witches and goddesses (you know, women?) of history and myth.
Hand-poured in the United States, soy, vegan, and certified cruelty-free.
